Mark’s story

I contacted The Dealer to help me better manage my cashflow. I was working hard six days a week with a healthy turnover but I didn’t seem to be getting anywhere with it.

Wendy’s story

Thank God The Dealer exists! I attempted to change my car insurance, mid-term, and thought the process would be easy but (pardon the pun), the wheels soon fell off.

Setting up the new policy was easy. All they needed was confirmation of my no-claims and we were good to go. But then I found there was no easy way to cancel my existing policy; emails, live chat, and phone calls went unanswered. I found myself stuck. I was paying for both policies and needed my no-claims certificate to validate the new policy but the old insurer just wasn’t responding.

I raised a formal complaint in line with their procedure and again… nothing. I was incurring charges from both sides and I was literally at my wits’ end so I called The Dealer.

My case was taken on and I was told to sit back and wait for an update. Later that day, I received an email that my new insurer had now received my no-claims certificate and that my new policy application was now complete. My old insurer finally apologised and waived the fees they were trying to claim from me and they even sent me an Amazon gift voucher!

I am not sure what The Dealer did but, whatever it was, it was done swiftly and brilliantly and I know for a fact I wouldn’t have gotten this result myself.

Pierce’s story

My commercial electricity provider changed the rules of when I could submit my reading without telling me. I missed the new date and, as such, the company in question estimated my bill three times higher than my normal monthly electrical spend.

I called them to complain and seek an immediate revision by providing them with the actual meter read but was told it was too late, that the bill had now been generated and, as such, they would be seeking this amount from my bank.

I argued that the bill was grossly overestimated in their favour and that this would impact my business as the excess money they planned to take was needed to pay other suppliers. The attitude I faced was one of disinterest and abrupt rudeness.

I’d heard what The Dealer had done for someone I knew so I sent an email and hoped for a miracle. Lo and behold, the miracle came.

Within two phone calls, The Dealer had sorted my issue, got the incorrect invoice removed, the new, revised (and now correct) invoice returned and I was close to £600 better off.

This may not seem like a lot of money, but a small business losing that sort of money (especially when you shouldn’t) can be crippling. I cannot thank The Dealer enough.
